And every human will have the opportunity to find out for him/herself that God is very, very real. Some people will find God when they face a huge, huge tragedy. Others a soft voice of God and His breath breathed over them. These people KNOW that God is so real that they are willing to DIE by the evil hand than to voice words that deny Him. God is alive. He is one to fear, to respect, to love, and to cherish. Those who don't choose to be His are His arch enemy's and will find out just how real He is. You will never get someone to deny God who has had their Spirit opened to Him and filled up by Him. Prayer should always be our first resort because God can do all things. And we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Let us not be silent in the face of persecution. It took a couple years to beat it into submission. It did have one good feature - the yard smelled like a huge piece of peppermint candy when we mowed it.

Sometimes I can make my sin smell sweet - I say something "in love" when I'm really being critical. 'David encouraged himself in the Lord' (I Samuel 30:6) In reading Psalms David starts out 'oh, Lord, help me!' and ends up with 'however, no matter WHAT happens, I will praise the Lord my God.' But the choice is ours--we can stay a white belt forever, or we can practice encouraging ourselves and attain the black. Thanks, Lori, good stuff!Carlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11448247580748334697noreply@blogger.com
